Default Heating issues

We have a 1996 Dodge Dakota Sport with the V6 Magnum. We have flushed it, swapped fuses and relays, resonator is good, blower motor works. The hoses going into the heater are hot going in and out. I'm at a loss here and need some much needed advice. Thank you!

Blend door? Can you hear the door thump on the stops when you cycle it?

There is a 96 service manual in the FAQ section that you can download. About halfway down the page.

My 96 with the 5.2 had a similar issue. Flushed heater core hoses were hot going in and out but heat was only lukewarm at best. Ended replacing my heater core and found the heater core was caked up with dirt and dust on the outside most likely causing my poor heat. Being a Chrysler technician seems like heater cores are always a common repair when there’s a poor heat concern.
