My 89 was stolen back in 16 and it was recovered same night, but the thieves clipped all my front end wiring and stole some parts out of it. Fast forward to today, I have mostly everything buttoned up. Headlight wiring is finally all done but I have two wires left on the driver side near headlight.

a red/green and red/black wire. What are these for? I notice my horn is no longer wired. Are these for the horn? Anybody with photos of how their Dakota’s horn is wired or where these two wires go to?

 

I do have wiring diagrams that I can send if I find them. let me look I will get back to you.

 

thanks! I have the diagram off my Haynes manual. My original service manual is getting in today. That’s how I saw at least one of them is for the horn. I really could use a photo of the horn harness, though.

 

these are the two wires. Rd green for sure goes to horn.
