Default Pcm interchange part numbers

Good morning I need a PCM for a 1993 Dodge Dakota V6 automatic 4WD P/N 56027774 this seems harder to find than I would like. I have only been able to find one single PCM with this P/N. Are these part numbers interchangeable to other PCMs that would plug and play?

thanks in advance

Quick google search on the part number turns up a couple. Not cheap though..... Have you talked to your local auto parts stores? They may be able to get you one cheaper.

yes I have I’m just worried the ones from the parts store will be incorrectly programmed. Also I’m worried about most of the listings I see online as they seem to be third party websites or low traffic sites that only take PayPal

They are OBDI, so, not flash programmable. If the part number is correct, it will have the correct programming. If there are issues, you can take it back in, and talk to a real human being.... not some random joe on the phone.
