I was taking apart the transfer case shift linkage since I'm in the middle of a transmission rebuild. While I was trying to loosen the shift **** off the shaft, it felt as if the shifter was rounding around the shaft. Well once I squeezed and got it off, I looked inside and the inside plastic housing that holds the metal nut inside the shifter is completely cracked. Is there anyway I can repair the inside so it doesn't round around the nut and it stays tight.
