It was always at least 1 hr away from home, shorter trips, no problem. Yeah, heat-related.
At 1st , it was just once or twice a trip. Then later trips every 15-60 seconds, making the rear end clunk. Accelerate, problem goes away. Get home and check for loose connections, no joy, seems like I wiggle every wire in the engine bay.
I must of missed the TPS. I inadvertently touch the purple wire on the TPS, and the engine dies! Took the connector apart, kinda like a Deutsch. Does anyone know what they are ? ONLY REMOVE 1 pin at a time or copy it out on paper. Female Split pins were spread a little. Use needle-nose pliers to CAREFULLY pinch them tighter. Pinch, try pin on TPS, and when good enough, replace the pin in the connector before removing the next pin. Fixed the problem. And I’ll try some pics.
Will the Dodge dealer have these pins, I would think so.
Trying to show the little plastic lever holding pins in, under my FAT index finger. Use a small screwdriver, lift the lever carefully, use your little finger and ring finger to pull the pin out. Carefully pinch this split closeder, just on the left end. Then try on the male pin on TPS.

The wire harnesses were subbed out so doubt they would have it. It may be easier to just get the connector and pig tail wires. Have a look here. If you know the manufacture of the plug you could probably find it here. A lot of times there is a # on the plastic part of the connector that may help.
Moparite, thank you for the links. I didn't see any numbers. The orange part in the face is making me think of a Duetsch type connector. I also looked for the 60-pin PCM connector; it had 2 numbers, 56017234 once in white paint and stamped into the plastic and 16451 stamped next to it. No joy. I'm thinking pick-n-pull, or another salvage yard. I'd try to get the plug end and the PCM receptacle. My pcm pin order is differant than my 93 FSM and the picture in the FAQs.
