Default Fuel in oil, sluggish acceleration

I have a 1992 dodge Dakota 188,000 miles. Has been sitting in a dry barn for 5-6 years non running. Was only used during winter for sledding on the back of it and also used for farm work. I just replaced the fuel pump and filter. It has an issue with the overdrive not turning on burning really rich and sluggish acceleration. I know I have to check the vacuum line to see if gas is in it otherwise it is in the electrical system. Just need help to locate where I can disconnect the vacuum line and test and if I need to replaced the distributor cap or the entire assembly I did check the cap and the mounting screws weren’t tightened down barely at all. Thank you for your time to help me. If you need pictures or more info I can submit them.

Should be a magnum engine, direct port injection. Fuel pressure regulator is part of the pump module, it isn't vacuum regulated at all. You may have an injector stuck open...... If you have a fuel pressure gauge, hook it up, start engine, check the gauge, shut off the engine, see how quickly pressure bleeds off..... It *should* hold pressure for 15 minutes or more.... If it bleeds off right away, that is probably a bad injector.
