Anyone know how to turn off the maintaince required light off on a 92??

 

You need a DRBII or Snap On scantool. No other way to reset it on the 92+ trucks. If you do not have access to it just pull the bulb instead. It is just a mileage based reminder light to check some emissions stuff.

 

Exactly, a Snap On scanner can do it. Or like Sneezer said, just pull the buld. It is set to come on automatically at 120,000 miles. Just a way for Chrysler corporation to get more money. If its really bothering you then take it somewhere to a shop and they should be able to do it for you for a fee. Don't know how much though.

 

Cool thanks i got a friend with a scanner he can take it off. I just cant pass state emissions with it on. They wont pass you is any dash light is on.
