Today I'm heading out an gettin an oil pressure gauge for my 94 dakota 318 could someone help me out with installation, and tell me around what it should be reading thanks.

 

I am not sure about the V8 engines. but the V6's run about 8 Idleing and 60 or so when driving.

If you have a manual (repair) it will tell you. Or call Dodge dealer. Again I am not sure for your truck. But there are some numbers to get an idea.
