Exhaust header question
I'm looking to replace the exhaust manifolds on my 94 318 dakota.
Which would be better: performance-wise?
a set of aftermarket shorty headers:
or a set of 92 ex manifolds.
I'm replacing the Y pipe either way I go (plus exhaust), so that's not important.
I appreciate your help guys!!

92 or 93 manifolds will flow a little better.
Doug Thorley made a set of headers for 92-95 I think that are tri Y setup. They are the best for the street. It comes with a Y pipe to bolt in the stock location. Problem is fonding them. So if you do let me know. Summit sells them for $500. Ouch, but they will perform better than some BS shorties you can find all over ebay.

I mean buying mufflers and tips or whatever you want. A flowmaster muffler off ebay is the same as from summit as long as the ebayer represents it correctly. You can buy mufflers and tips cheaper on ebay, take them to an exhaust shop and have it installed. This will help keep th eprice down. Do some shopping around and see where you can get it the cheapest.
