Also the 360 has a longer stroke which produces more torque.More power starting down in the bottom

Shouldn't be a problem. I saw an 89 drop top done up with a 360 Magnum.

Can you use a 360 from let's say an 89 year model truck? Oh, and can you go carberated instead of fuel injected. Can a 360 from 92 or newer truck be carberated? What about the tranny, can I use the one from an 89 truck. The reason I ask, is because I have access to an 89 dodge as a donor truck. Any help, would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 93 dakota sport 4x4 with a 5.2 and a 93 dakota 4x4 donor truck. will I be able to use the same y-pipe with out having to change it when I do my swap? I am leaving the engine harness on the motor for the computer and transfering it all to the truck..
