Default need quick fix

hey, i have a 96 3.9 and just lately a sensor's seal popped out and its throwing oil everywhere. I'm not sure what sensor this is but it is located right behind my distributor and has two wires coming out of it. I replaced the connector piece for it (the part that has the wires attached to it), since the top of this piece is what is leaking... but it just did the same thing again. I got the piece from a parts engine I had. I'm not sure if this was a defect or recall that i may have missed but if anybody has any ideas please reply!

That is your oil pressure sending unit. You can get a replacement from your local parts store for about $20. I bought a Borg-Warner one from O'Reillys last year.
