Does anybody know if the first generation came with a black interior? Or if perhaps the second generation interior would fit in it. I don't mind drilling new holes but i don't want to cut or weld anything on the body. Any knowledge is greatly appreciated.
thanks, yeah i was actually lookin at cardomain last night tryin to find an answer and thats pretty much what i found. The dark grey from the 2nd generation is pretty cool, i didn't find many pics of the inside taken apart but it looks like the pieces would fit the same. has anyone put that interior into a first gen?
dark gray was on the first gens as well and there was a black that was on the durangos so you just replace the capet and paint you dash and get seatcovers (the good kind) and make your own
No black came factory. Summit sells different color carpet. You can use two pieces of 18 inch flat steel per seat to bolt your seat tracks to and then bolt late model seats to teh steel since the spacing is different this works out good.
my interior is kinda confusing its blue and light gray but all the carpet and the dash is dark grey and thats how my grandad got it from the dealership (new)
