Default tire size

i have a 91 2wd dakota and was wondering if i could fit 30 9.50 15s without any rubbing. any help is great. thanks.

well you can fit 235/75 15's on it with no problem and 30's arent much bigger...i think the rubbing would depend on what kind of tires they are..and tread..bfg all-terrains might rub, regular tires shouldnt

235/75 15 will rub on the frame when turning on 2wds

i had 235/75 15's on mine before and it didnt rub at all, even in a sharp turn

I have 31x10.5's on my 1990 dak 4x4. The only rubbing i know of is as i start to turn, they rub against the mud flaps. I dont know about i sharp turn. I'd have to listen to see if there is any noise while doing one.

As long as you have the stock rims. Which're about 6.5in deep. They should not rub.

im lookin at Dunlop Mud Rovers so hopefully they will only rub at full lock. Thanks for all the help.

I know this thread is about tire size, but could i take rims off of an older durango and put them on my 1990 dak 4x4?

As long as your truck is 6 lug it will work. The Viper, Dakota and Durango bolt patterns are all 6x4.5. I have a set of Durango rims for Winter storage.
