How to access windshield wiper linkage on 88 Dakota?
I've searched the forums, and google, and I can't seem to find anything that tells me how to access the linkage for the windshield wipers. My moter runs ok, and the wipers will go back and forth just fine if I try them manually, so I am assuming the most likely problem is the linkage assembly. I can not figure out how to remove the peice of metal the windshield wipers go through - any suggestions/instructions for getting down into that area behind the hood to see what is wrong?
Thanks

I was going to replace mine when they got stripped. However, what I was told is they're all one piece with the motor. I think the whole set ran like 80-100 bucks.

If I remember right the screws are under the hood along the cowl.

I figured it out:
you lift up the wiper, then there is a little "lip" near the base that you pull out to the side, then the wiper lifts right off - after that, the cowl comes off no problem
