Anyone know how to reset the odometer on the mechanical 125mph speedometers?


Or have white gauges for it? Curious if the needles just pop out or if there's another way to put these things on.

I don't think you can reset the odometer. It can probably be done but you would have to dismantle everything to get to it.

The needles should pop right off, you just have to be careful when you do it so they don't break. Hard part is making sure they go back in the same position, otherwise your gauges get all screwed up. Someone had a post on how to do the swap, but I can't remember if it was on this site or another.

 

I figured it out.. just the black cap pops off.. I thought it was the whole needle... took all of 1 minute and didn't even need to move the needles. Thanks for the reply.

 

you got to find the little cable that hooks to the odometer may require taking some things apart then hook it on a drill and spin it backwards
