Tranny leak on a 93 3.9 4x4

Default Tranny leak on a 93 3.9 4x4

I have a leak between the trasfer case and the tranny. I am looking for any idea of where its leaking for sure. My cross member is soaked in fluid. is it a gasket or something else. I plain on riping into it really soon. Any and all help and ideas would be helpfull.

I believe there is some kind of a gasket.
Let us know how it goes, and upload some pics if you can take some pictures.

There's nothing between the transfer case and tranny. They're just bolted together. More than likely it's leaking from the tranny itself. The tranny is three sections siliconed together. Mine leaks a little when it's hot. I don't know of any way to fix it without pulling the tranny and putting new silicone between the tranny sections. Oh, and pulling the tranny is a pain in the @$$.

Well i found what was wrong. According to the shop i took it to said there was a crack in the tranny case. So it going to get welded up. Thanks for the help Guys.
