wipers

RE: wipers
On my 89, I prefer to take the whole arm off to change them. To accomplish that:
Pull the wiper arm away from the window.
While holding it away, pull the tab at the base out.
Release pressure on the blade and it will keep the tab locked out.
Just lift the whole assy off the spindle.
Then if you have just the blade, pull one end of the old blade free and pull it thru the slots and install a new one.
If you have the blade assy., pull and hold this small tab down(towards the blade):
The assy will come off as shown. You may have to wiggle it as the piece the tab is on can move within the blade assy.:
The new assy. should just push on.
If the tab assy. comes out, it goes in like this:

Greg
