Hello.
Can Anyone give advice on how to open a stuck hood on a 87 Dakota. The lever to open the hood is not broken.
I left the cap of where u add water on the hood. [:'(]
Can Anyone help me.

Is the cap causing pressure on the hood latch? Try having someone pull the dash hood latch and hold it out. While they are doing that, press down on the hood above the latch and let up, Hopefully, that will relieve enough pressure for the latch to release. You can also try lifting it by hand while the latch is being held out.

I would try like posted above. Pulling up on the hood while someone else pulls out on the hood release.
