89 4x4 m/t jerky acceleration
just picked up my first dakota, 89 lb st cab man trans 4x4. 300 bux replaced the coil and drove it home . on the trip home the thing wants to kinda jerk as your accelerating, like there is a lack of fuel. i changed plugs and fuel filter, same thing. i read a post on here this morning that told me how to get the engine codes but i don't have a book. does anyone here have a list of the codes? the codes i recieved are as follows- 12- 22- 33-.oh by the way this is my first post!
12- battery was disconnected.
22- engine coolant temp sensor out of range.
33- A/C clutch relay circuit.
how does your truck idle? is your check engine light on? try disconnecting your coolant temp sensor and see if it runs the same. because your engine will be constantly in "warm up mode" if the coolant temp sensor doesnt work and it will be getting too much fuel. my 88 did that a while a go and now it's fine.

when in neutral it's ok until around 4000 rpm then it starts cuttin' out. when it's under a load while driving it jerks anytime you accelerate. the check engine light does not come on. [:@]
