No brake lights
I have a '95 Dodge Dakota 5 speed truck. I've checked the bulbs, fuses under hood and under dash, all visible wires, and all are good, but no brake lights. It's been suggested that it could be a fusible link or a $10.00 relay that is supposed to be on the passenger side firewall. The books I have don't identify either of these, so does anyone know where they are or what I should check.
Thanks

RE: No brake lights
Try the following:
gain access to the stop lamp switch. This is mounted on the brake pedal support bracket (above where the brake pedal is mounted). It had a 6-wire connector.
Unplug the connector. Place a jumper wire between the following: the [pink and dark blue] and the [white and tan] wires. Than, check and see if your brake lights are on.
If the brake lights now come on, you need to replace your stop lamp switch.
