Well,after a day of unnecessary replacement of parts I finally tackled the problem thanx for the sugestions guys

the wire that runs from the starter that goes to the relays was brokenin the middle I changed out the pos cable and rewired the other...no more trouble it will idle for hours w/out shutting down...I'm thrilled
