Price check? 1990 3.9
So I have had my dodge 3.9L 2WD for about 8 years now, its sitting at about 190k miles and the tranny just went out in it.. err well is going.. it limps. Its been good to me, everything except the tranny is in really good condition, interior is almost mint... few dings and scratches to be expected. I think I paid a fair price for it 8yrs ago, and I dont want to rip anyone off... I just want an honest price for it. I also put on new BFG 315/75 tires on it about 1k miles ago. So the tires are like bran new... I paid over 500$ for the tires. How much is the truck worth? I got an ammco quote for replacing the tranny at 1200-1500 bucks and im not sure if that eats away the amount I could get for it... Id like to think if it had a good tranny the truck would be worth 2500-3000 considering its condition. Im not a car salesman or a mechanic.. just a guy that wants to be fair and up front b4 I go and place it in the adds.
I was thinking of asking 1,000-1,250 for it...

I'm no Dakota expert but I do know cars and anymore,High mileage just says the vehicle was well constructed and is worth fixing up.1250 for a "90" dak with nearly 200k on it tahas not bad really and you can let em talk you down some everybody's happy...but thats my opinion I could be wrong

the kelley blue book has it at 855 in fair condition to 1400 in excellent condition. i dont really trust the blue book as it also lists my 89 dakota sport convertible 4x4 with 41000 miles at 3100 dollars. ive seen my truck sell on ebay for 8ooo to 15000 in simmilar condition, so its more what the market will bear and what the individual buying it really wants.
