Am i asking to much?
Hey i've been tring to sell my dakota and it has no interest. i was wondering if i'm over priced?? i'd like to get 3500 out of it ....its a 92 Dodge Dakota 4X4 Le Ext Cab 318 518 automatic both have been rebuilt probably 3-3500 miles ago...there is some rust on the rear wheelwells like normal..but i've got a box off a burnt truck that has mint box sides last i knew. T-case with new seals. its been pulled apart and inspected and looked good. i'll throw some pics up. also i ran all new brakelines except the rubberones as they looked good all new brakes front and back new wheel cyl. springs in the back and new pads up front rotors were good as is with calipers. i did install (which is not in the first pic) a visor with lights and its painted (differnt blue people at napa couldn't match panint) as is with the hood scoop which isn't functional..it has 32 in tires on cragar wheels....just looking for opinions..
nevermind about the pics i'm having problems....someone help...lol

RE: Am i asking to much?
I have seen them go for more then that around here. In worse condition. Not saying that your is in bad condition. I am just saying I have seen them here with no rocker panels and the undercarriage is rotted and they want like 3 grand for them. The funny thing is people acctually buy them. Oh well. 4x4, 318, auto with over size tires and some spare parts.......I wouldnt think you were asking too much. The other thing you could do is go to www.kelleybluebook.com. They will get ya in the ball park as far as what others in the shape your trucks in are going for.
Hope this helps.

RE: Am i asking to much?
I paid $6,000 for mine back in January. (The stealership wanted $7,900!!). The price they wanted was close to what KBB said its worth. (Right now its worth, private party, around $5,700 in "good" condition, and $7700 SRV in "excellent")
I get a lot of people telling me "Man, you were ripped off." I don't think I was ripped off (I could have talked the price down a little). $6,000 for a truck that is (granted, 10 years old), and will outlast any of its competitors. Theres a reason these retain their value. (Besides, their the ones driving gay a$$ rice burners)
Anyways, I agree with erock'. You can get $3,500 out of it. (And Kelley blue book is kbb.com)
