recently i took out my dash and rehooked my ventilation ducts. and while putting it back i noticed some things that were taped up and away. one was a 12v light housing on the lower right kickpanel in the front seat. it had a grounding stakeon, and a socket for a lightbulb. is this for the glovebox? because i found anotherone, same thing, 12v light socket. put no ground stakeon.

anyone know?

 

I think what you are referring to is the "courtesy lamp." Its meant to turn on when: one of the doors is opend, or, for a little bit after the headlight switch is turned on. Its light is visible on the passenger side floor.

Where is the location of the other socket?
