Default Problem with wipers...

Im having a problem with my window wipers. First of all the delay settings wont work, they only work when they are on low or high. The other thing that is wrong is my drivers side wiper is loose. It will still move but it will either look like it will fly off the truck or it wont go high enough and slam into the truck. What do i have to do to fix this?

I would say the windshield wiper control module is not working anymore. (This controls wipers on the delay function only, not low or high speed settings).
The module is located on the right side of the steering column, behind the ash tray.

For the drivers side wiper problem, you may have to replace the arm, maybe some other parts.

Is there a bolt i can tighten on the arm to maybe make it a little tighter? How hard would replacing the arm be?

I've never worked on the wipers on my truck. According to the service manual, lift the wiper arm to get the blade off the windshield (like you were changing the blade or something), and at the pivot point there should be a latch. Pull the latch out, and with a rocking motion of the wiper arm, it should come off at the pivot point.
