Default heater question

i was wondering if anyone could help me with a heater problem that i am having with my 1993 dakota sport....i would like to get it fixed before it starts getting too cold outside

anyways, the heat doesnt get vey hot at all.....the blower works, there is plenty of coolant, and the temp gauge reads normal.....but it just isnt very hot, however the faster you go the warmer the heat gets...a little anyways not alot

i am thinking it might be the heater core, but i dont know anything about anything but neons so i need some help with this one...

thanks

You should back-flush the heater core. A regular garden hose and a connection fitting is all that you need.
You should also back-flush the block and radiator while your at it just to make sure everythings clean.
