I need to replace my water pump but I'm not sure the removal direction of the central nut between the fan clutch and water pump pulley. I have the fan clutch wrench but the nut's tight either way you go. It's a 97 and has probably never been removed. Please Help.

I would imagine that they wouldn't be very easy to break loose, especially if its been a while/its never been changed out.

which way does the fan spin?/ can't remember but it will be the oppisite way because when it spins they want it to tighten it.
