Default Rear Brake Line

HI, I have a 1989 Dodge Dakota Sport 4x4 with the 3.9 v6 engine. My problem is the short brake line on the drivers side rear that goes from the spliter block to the rubber hose is bad and I can't find one. No one seems to be able to match the fitting that goes into the block. The parts stores say see the dealer and the dealer says that the part is discontinued. Does anyone know where I can get this line? Thanks in advance for your help.

so do you need the rubber hose? or do you need the brake line that goes from the splitter block to the wheel cylinder.

cause iirc the rubber hose goes right into the splitter box.

Thanks for your reply, This truck has a short steel line about 6 inches long that goes between the spliter box and the end of the rubber hose, this is the line that is busted. The fitting that goes into the box is the problem .This line feeds the rubber hose which goes to the drivers side wheel. I have the line off I just can't find the right parts to fix it. Merry Christmas[&:]

ok, maybe try a junk yard for the fitting. aslong as you can find a good one. or try another autoparts store. cause somebody has to make them.
