I have a '94 5.2L and the check engine light keeps coming on. I pulled the code and it came us as 32, which when I looked it up is EGR Valve related. Anyone else have this issue before? I priced a EGR valve out, and its $100. Not to bad, but can I just clean or fix the one on the truck? Or is there something else that could be causing the light? Thanks

Try pricing it through Chrylser, they're usually cheaper than after-market. They also usually come with the EGR solenoid as well. Does the code come back on immediately? If it does, it's probably the solenoid shorting.

 

Well, I ended up replacing the EGR Valve, and that fixed the problem. Got the EGR Valve for $75 at autozone.
