Default I've searched everywhere!

i cant find out why the hell my dash lights are not working.... I just bought it from a lot but this truck has some damage... on the right side, from the fender back, it has been swiped by a poll.... lol... someone hit a f-ing pole!!!!! yes, i bought it and the right side mirror is broke off and the wires are showing, the problem is that the dash lights on my 94 dakota 5.2 ltr, are not coming on... I have looked at all the fuses under the dash, and replaced the SINGLE fuse that was blown, only to find out that it was nothing... (my radio)... But I have also checked the fuse box/relay box under the hood on the front driver side.. no relays and no fuses are blown, but my dash lights dont work... the Brights indicator, the ABS, and the turn signals work, all my exterior lights work fine, but I still dont understand why they dont work.... ive checked EVERYTHING....

Also... when the previous owner had it he had custom sterio... somone had broke the window on the driver side and stole the cd deck, and the 6x9's in the back, well i suppose when he installed all the speakers, he cut the power window controls SOMEWHERE.... please somone help me out!!!!!!!!! i need to find out how to rewire these power windows and door locks if needed....

I will post more about it when i have more time... anyone have ANY ideas????

well I hate wireing but did you check the bulb for the dash light

I would take the dash apart and see if theres any power there.other then that I have no idea. maybe some one else will give you a wiring diagram or some helpful advice.

Actually, their for a Ford Festiva... but its close enough .
It's from a 1996, but the wiring should be very close to the same.
*Note* The power windows are run off a circuit breaker, not a fuse.

Let me help you understand the wiring a little better:
Open the first picture (power locks, page 8W-61-3). See where it says "Power Distribution Center" to the left. Look under that. It says A3 10RD/BK.
A3 is the circuit. 10 is the gauge of wire, and RD/BK is the color (red with a black stripe).
Just to the right of that, and a little up, it says "C116", which is a connector. If when doing some wire tracing you suspect a connector is bad, I can tell you where any connector is and probably post a picture of where it is.
Above that and to the right it says "S216" above a solid dot. That is a splice. Again, I can tell you where any splice is and probably post a picture of where it is.
To the bottom left you will see "G201" and the symbol for a ground. Of course, this signifies a ground.

Wire colors are as follows:
BL = Blue
BK = Black
BR = Brown
DB = Dark Blue
DG = Dark Green
GY = Gray
LB = Light Blue
LG = Light Green
OR = Orange
PK = Pink
RD = Red
TN = Tan
VT = Violet
WT = White
YL = Yellow

If you have any more questions, just ask.
