Default Wiper Linkage Bushings

I was wondering if any of you guys have seen the little plastic bushings that the wiper linkages have on them up under the cowl panel. All they have is nissan and toyota ones at the part store. I am going to have to go to the dealer? Has anyone ever rigged some up? Thanks.

I have mine taken apart right now. I picked up one of those universal help boxes that says Chrysler. It only has two of the ones for my 90 Dak... So now I have to find the thrid one which is WAY different than the other two.

The two bushings that are the same are the motor end and passenger side wiper arm. The Driver side arm needs a different bushing because it has the drag link aswell as the linkage from the motor.

I got mine from autostoned in the help section, part number on box is 49447.

Hope it helps,
Shorty

Oreilly's didnt have the other bushing... I just finished installing mine this morning. There are Three that are the same and then one that is Dealer only... $3.50.

They will know exactly what bushing you mean being it is one they still use... Very easy to install and WAY better wipers now!! They swipe withou binding even with a dry windshield.

Later Daze,

I got mine at NAPA. I took out both pivot posts that the wipers attch to and did it on the bench. Can't get to all of them on the truck. Make sure you seat them all the way.
