I'll bite.

Exactly what is wrong, what year?

If it's "Low beams don't work", if you kick it to high beams, do they stay on, or do you only get "Flash to Pass"? (Again, there's a difference between the two!)

1987 Dakotas are a small bit different from 1996 Dakotas.
