I was wondering if a 3" body lift off an 87' dakota would fit on a 92' dakota. They are both regular cabs. Also is the rear end in an 87 the same as a 92? Thanks

 

yes the 3" body lift will fit. cause they never really changed anything between those years.

as for the rearends, they will fit but.... it all depends on what ones you have. theres 2 styles. the 7.25 which has a hexagon shape diff cover. and the 8.25 which has a round diff cover.

I was stupid and when I blew my 8.25 rearend I put a 7.25 in it, and it blows, I HATE IT![:@]
