Bought my 89 2wd v6 with 220k for 500$ in 2005, still running strong and finally after 5 years the only money I need to put into it is for a new stater solenoid, and id even drive it cross country the next day. Just bought a 94 4x4 club cab 318 magnum dakota with 216k, hope my luck is the same, only paid 650 for it! They just dont quit! The 89 is still number one tho.

Hey Guys.......maybe its a gals good luck but I found my 1999 4X4 extended cab Dakota for $900.00!!!! It has 235,000 miles on it. Put upper & lower ball joints into it and a new alternator. Best thing is EVERYTHING works on it. Theres no rust either and she sees snow every winter!!

I paid $1000 for my 1995 V6 SLT Extended cab. It had all sorts of electrical problems (wipers didn't work, turn signals didn't work, interior lights didn't work when headlights on and hazards didn't work), leaked tranny fluid from the filler pipe o-ring and needed a fuel pump 3 days after I bought it. Now it runs perfectly only problem I have is I need a new A/C Condenser. It currently has 210,529 on the clock and you wouldn't know it. This is the second best truck I've ever owned behind my 1988 Jeep Comanche Eliminator 4.0 (wish I never sold that truck)

I traded a 250 Chinese dirt bike and $400! 89 dakota 4x4 with a 3.9 and 282,500 miles and still strong! Power win, locks, mirrors. little rust. And since I got it so cheap I have huge plans with the extra money I saved.
