How much did you pay for your Dakota?
Paid 17,000 for the 94' Dakota SLT extended cab v6 automatic
It was 2 years old when parents bought it years ago
Rode around in it as a kid and now it's my daily driver. (:

Paid $1400, was asking $1800. I got him down to $1500, but the guy who bought my car only would go $1400 so I gave up the cap I didn't really want and got it for $1400.
Came with some spare parts, and it was well maintained, but aside from the damage I could see, I found more over the last year, like rot on the truck that fairly looked rust free. Had to put some work into it, but for a 17 year old truck with ~160k on it, I cannot complain.

Needed a car immediately when I started my new job so my dad bought it off his boss for $1500. I hate complaining because it makes me seem ungrateful, but he seriously needs to learn how to haggle. The trucks in bad shape cosmetically, is as base line as you can get, and his dumbass boss had 235's in the rear and 215's up front to "save gas". I've put more than $1500 in it just to get it in decent shape so far.
I paid 2200 for my 1994 single cab short box 318 2 years ago. the engine was tired, burnt a bit of oil, and some depressing rust holes. BUT it had a 2 inch body lift and brand new 31 inch goodyear mts....
that didnt last long.. after a motor 2 trannys a rear dif and more lift iv got her the way i want it. pricless truck, wouldnt sell it for 100 000 mopar or no car

I payed $500 for mine guy wanted $750 but volunteered to sell it for 500 so boom i got it. in it $1200 or so now and no rust anymore and just got it insured last Thursday now its my daily driver. 1989 2wd 3.9 auto 128,000 miles runs excellent except that low oil pressure problem.
New here. My previous daily driver is my F250 with a V10. I average about 6mpg and filling her up was getting to me.
I just bought a 1996 2.5L 5 Speed last night. It's got 121k miles, no rust, clean body and A/C blows ice cold. I paid $1700. My first Dodge ever and I think my family may dis-own me over it but I'm happy.
