I did not get back to it today. I'm remodeling the main bathroom. Still going to check the other stuff that was mentioned. Just out of curiousity, the compute read out d=said the EGR valve was stuck closed. Any way to fix that? Unstick it, lube it or what ever?

 

That usually actually means your EGR tube is plugged up with carbon.

I don't know how or where on your motor, but I'd be checking the plumbing to the EGR valve first.

I would pick up a full EGR valve gasket set though.
