Default 91 5.2L Magnum AC delete

My ac has a blown o-ring and im planning to remove it. Can i cheat and buy a belt for a non AC equipped 5.2 or do i have to fabricate/buy an idler pully/AC delete kit?

Magnum in a 91?

If it is a Magnum, the AC bracket places the idler in a slightly different spot than the non-AC bracket, so a non-AC belt is a bit too short when used with the AC bracket. The non-AC belt is 88.5" and you need 89.5"-90.5". Simply ask for a belt for a 2010 Tacoma with a 2.7L with AC. This will get you a 7 rib 90" belt.

i think i have seen brackets that replace the A/C, with a pulley that just goes along roe the ride. and use the A/C belt. i think i saw it at summit.

Are you sure it is a Magnum? Magnums first came out in Dakotas in 1992. 1991 would have the older LA engine. For the magnum there is an A/C Compressor Bypass Pulley you can buy. http://www.autozone.com/autozone/par...38297_0_15373_

I'm not to sure on the LA engines, check www.autozone.com or www.napaonline.com or www.google.com

Its definitely a magnum. Fender badging, magnum snorkel air cleaner, overwhelming desire to roast rubber whenever i pull out above idle lol. Idk if one of the 2 former owners did a motor swap, or if it was a special order, but the motor definitely looks like it belongs between the fenders

if all you did is blow an o-ring honestly no reason to replace... my compressor has a blown inner bearing... just dont use it.. AKA unplug it, the clutch wont engage , since my clutch bearing is perfect its all i did

The bypass pulley is actually available for magnums all the way to 96, they sell two varients at the NAPA down the street. As far as deleting it goes, the HP increase is not worth it if you live somewhere with lots of rain or snow.
