I have a 92 6cyl, 2wd club cab. Dodge alloy wheels were installed when I bought the truck, appears to be from a Durango or later model Dakota, and they were rubbing the ball joint mount. Noone had a spacer or wheels in stock, so we "tapped" the edge of the mount with a hammer and got about 1/4" clearance to eliminate rubbing. I want to replace the wheels, but they are hard to find (6 X 4.5, 15X8). It's an odd-ball pattern that Dodge went with for a while for some reason.I want to stay with something pretty basic. Anyone have any suggestions?

 

go find a set of 17" R/T rims. thats what I would do if mine was 6 bolt.
