the idler and tensioner are two different pulleys, the idler is the smooth pulley, the tensioner is the one that you put the wrench on to take the belt off

my idler pulley just went , started as a belt noise a couple weeks back, but now its noisy. 62 frikken dollars for a simple pulley from chrysler, the othe places could get them, but delivery was a week.

I just had this same problem, it was the front driveshaft.
