Hey everyone. I posted once about this but I think I put it in the wrong spot. I have an 89 Dakota and recently replaced the front brake hoses on it. Now my anti-lock light comes on only when my brake pedal is pushed down. Can anyone tell me why this is happenning? Thanks
ABS light - Lucky for us, the ABS system can put out trouble codes. Gain access to the ABS controller (located in the cab on the passenger side, just forward of the door obviously on the right side) There should be a connector near the actual module. Momentairily ground this connector and count the number of times the anti-lock light flashes. Repost the number of flashes and I will tell you what it means.
Forgive me. I'm not too familiar with what you mean by grounding the wire...I'm pretty new tothis.I missed the automotive crash course between volleyball and aerobics..LOL thank you...
Sorry guys I can't find the ABS controller. Maybe I should just take it in the shop. It seems to stop fine, just worried why the light would come on after it has been fixed.
