99 durango problem
at random times the car will stall out with no warning. the outside temp on the overhead will usually jump to some high number(120+) and the car dies. the electrical still works(radio, windows, lights, etc) but nothing happens when you try to start up. the problem lasts for a minute up to 30 minutes and then the car starts up like nothing was ever wrong. most of the time i also get a "no bus" code, but not always. i took it to the hobby shop on base and they couldnt find any stored error codes and cant duplicate the problem. this happens to me probably 50% of the times i take it out.
any ideas or anyone with the same issue? thanks for your time

No bus means your PCM is on the way out. Take it to the local dealership it is one of the few things that you can't do yourself and will cost a little bit unless the pcm is still under warranty.
Also you can get a flahed PCM from B&G or another creditable company. Then you can take it to the dealer and have your truck info flashed into it. Then you have a bad *** PCM that will blow a Hypertech or Super Chip upgrade out the window.
