Hello all. I have a 2001 durango with an automatic trans & my speedo isn't working. The engine code P0500 VSS malfunction.
Where is this sensor located? I have a hanes manual, but don't seem to find it in there. Is this a readilly accessable part? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It is on the rear axle and is very easily replaced do a search on "speed sensor and you should find the location. I haven't had to deal with this one personally but it's a cheap part and fast swap.
