Hey everybody iam going to store my D. for at least six weeks at a time since i work for Swift transportation iam on the road for quit some time. my question is i want to put it on jack stands and i dont want to bend the frame at all but want to make sure most of theweight is off the suspenion. were do i put the stands on the frame.

 

Hmmm I would say get as close to the suspension points as possible

 

Why? The truck sits on the suspension it's entire life. Sitting for 6 weeks isn't going to hurt it. I'd be more concerned about covering the tires if it is outside and the trickle loss on the battery. Also add some fuel stabil or heat and change the oil right before the storage.
