Default RE: Car idling

Hello,

Thanks for the info as Mean Green did suggest that in our previous conversations. I changed my spark plugs and he suggested if I still had problems then Check my TPS, which I had changed that same day. Looking back I should have followed up but it is great to know there is a wealth of information being shared here...

Thanks again all....

My 02 Durango seems to have the same problem. Can someone tell where this sensor is located so i can switch it out??

Thanks

Located on the Throttle body. Remove the airhat, the TPS sensor is on the driver's side of the throttle body. Use a torx driver to remove the two screws, unplug the wiring harness and slide out the TPS. Then reverse the steps. 10 min procedure or less. Recommend you do it when the engine is cold so you won't get burn or get cooked by the heat!
