ANYBODY INSTALLED THE 8" SUB THAT FITS IN THE STORAGE COMPARTMENT BEHIND THE THIRD ROW SEAT. WONDERING HOW IT SOUNDS AND IF THAT LID ON TOP OF IT VIBRATES ALOT.

First any sub you buy is going to vibrate your interior unless you dynamat it.. now under the storage compartment I garenty you that its going to vibrate.. The prob is its only a 8 inch sub its going to give you a little more base but not enough to really be worth the money there selling for.. I sugest spending some money getting a good 10 inch in a smaller box and putting that in.. thats what I have done and it works wonders.. I like the rockford fosgate P2 10 inch sub. with at lest a 300 wat amp. that will give you good base but not hurt your earsn our your wallet. I have had dual p2 subs and let just say I started going def so went back to one and its nice complement to the system with out over doing it. its all personal and if you all have anything to add feel free.

 

I KNOW ITS ALL GOING TO VIBRATE RIGHT NOW I HAVE A 12" ALPINE TYPE 'R' WITH A 1500 WATT ROCKFORD FOSGATE AMP. BUT IM TRYING TO SELL THAT BECAUSE IM TIRED OF IT TAKING UP ALL THAT ROOM. SO I FIGURED ID ASK ABOUT THE ONE THAT IS HIDDEN IN THE STORAGE COMPARTMENT

 

what were you hoping to get from the sub and amp.....i have three eXcellon subs and a 2400 watt amp that id have to put in my R/T unless i can get a good deal on something else.....ive been wanting to try the Alpine R sub since it got one of teh best clarity ratings as well as being able to handle power.

 

Good luck finding one. If you find TWO, let me know. I've been looking for nearly a year for the 8" that fits in the corner like that. I'd buy one new or used.

Those are MTX Thunderforms, not what I was talking about it thought you were talking about. Clarion made a sub that sits in the corner of the rear of the D... that's what I am looking for.
