Question about my moms D...
Frenchy:
As a fellow 4.7 owner, here is my 02.
Tune up would consist of plugs preferably Champions. I do not particularly like them myself, buy everything I have read and seen says that these motors like them. Just remember that the heads are aluminum and thus engine should be cold to avoid thread damage when changed. Put a little no seize on them when you put the new ones into aid future removal.
With coil on plug ignition, you don't have a rotor, cap, or conventional wires so no worries there.
Also, if the D is 4x4 it should have had a coolant flush, trans fluid /filter change and both front and rear axle fluids done at 90k. If those have not been done then itis 10k overdue.
Don't forget the air filter. They are only $6-7 bucks at WalMart and easy to change.
This should get you started anyway

use the same plugs as the dak frenchy. i have been running the autolites in my dak and have no problems. they are one heat range cooler than the factory champions and perform just as good and will take care of the misfire
