D wont start with Key! only remote or hotwire
I have a 2003 Durango with a Viper 791 remote start. Today the key no longer would start the car (the remote start has been installed for years).
If I remote start the vehicle it will start right up or if I put the key in turn it and apply 12 to the starter wire then it will also start. If I turn the key to start then I am not getting 12 v to the yellow starter wire - i basically need to hotwire it.
I am fairly confident the problem is not the remote starter as I have taken that out of the loop.
Any ideas? Ignition switch?
