So I've searched here and here and online and I'm striking out on shackles for my 99 D.
Who makes them and where is the best place to get them from?

Second question, what size tires can we run after the Tortion bar and shackle lift?
We are not looking for 35's here but I would like 33's if they dont look dorky and rub.Bacically just looking for a bit higher than stock.

Point me in the right direction?

you can run 33's with the TS lift, however you will rub on hard turns and articulation. You will be almost completely rub free if you slap a body lift on there as well.....3 inch lift for $200

also.....do a search for "torsion" or "shackes"or "lift" and you'll be able to find a lot of info and opinions..

 

if you take the front bumper off, notch out the holes in the bumper and slide the bumper 2" forward you will not rub

 

Thanks, I did a search and found nothing on the brand/location of shackles. As for the torsion bars... Well that's not hard to figure out. Size of tire, same thing didnt see anyone (in the 4 threads that showed up) that refered to what size tire would work.

I considered that, had to change a light bulb in the turn sig and thought it would be easy to notch the mount and slide it forward. Didnt look like there was 2" of material there but it would move.
