Default Radiator fan for A/C not operating

I need to verify that the fan is always supposed to come on when the A/C is on.Can anyone verify that?I checked the fuse and it checks out OK and I checked the terminals that the fuse sits on and no power is coming there so I'm assuming the fan motor is OK (for now).I'm wondering where the fan gets it's signal? Can anyone tell meother places to check. The A/C works but not efficient at a stop.

Thanks Much

DId you check the relay switch in the PCM? Also try hooking power directly to the fan and make sure it works.

What year/etc Durrango do you have?

yes the electric fan comes on with the AC

it only* comes on with max AC (or the lil snowflake button if so equipped)

*also when coolant reaches 195*

Another thing to check is the temperature switch in the coolant.

if its not running with the AC then its not gonna run period

checking the coolant switch is pointless

I disagree, if the circuit is broken anywhere an electric fan will not operate.
