Default 2002 durango SLT+ Tires

I just bought a 2002 STL+ Durango that originally had 265/70/16 tires on it (oem size on sticker on driver door). I noticed after purchasing it that it now has 265/75/16. They don't hit the fenders but are very close.. Is this a normal size that people go up to from the stock tire and has anyone heard of any major problems besides the speedometer being off by about 2 miles per hour? Thanks so much.

You should not notice any driving differences between the 70 and 75 series tire. the 75 series tire is just slightly taller than 70. The previous owner may have bought these taller tires from a special sale promotion or they may have had a special preference in mind.
